Rapid Charge Mode (Default)
1. Connect the supplied power cord to the power supply unit and connect to a compatible outlet (100-240VAC, 50/60Hz). Connect the DIN connector to the charger unit as shown in Figure 1 .
TIP: When operating the charger outside of its intended region of use, simply obtain a power cord with a suitable plug type or use a plugchanger. Transformer is not necessary.

Figure 2. 2. Insert AA and/or AAA rechargeable batteries in the desired combination, as shown in the Figure 2 below:
NOTE: Ensure that your rechargeable batteries are pressed down all the way to ensure optimal contact.
Figure 3. TIP: When charging less than eight rechargeable batteries, temperature can be reduced if battery-to-battery spacing is increased.
This can be accomplished by leaving a battery bank empty between two rechargeable batteries, as shown in the Figure 3.
3. When the rechargeable battery is correctly inserted, charging will commence for that bank.
The MH-C801D battery charger is equipped with a four-level battery gauge which displays the battery charging progress.
Extremely low charge. Typically indicates abnormal or aged batteries. Conditioning is recommended.
Charging completed. Maintenance charge in progress.
